Make A Difference - Be the Difference
You can change a child’s life in just one week.
Every year, children in Maui who have experienced abuse, neglect, or instability are given a chance to just be kids again—safe, seen, and valued.
WHAT IT TAKES
Becoming a volunteer is simple—and you won’t do it alone.
-
5-day commitment during camp
-
Training and support provided
-
No prior experience needed
-
Be part of a caring, purpose-driven team
WHY IT MATTERS
One week at camp gives them:
-
Positive memories
-
Encouragement and belonging
-
A sense of safety and trust
And it starts with someone like you showing up. You don’t need to be perfect—JUST BE PRESENT.
If you’ve ever felt the nudge to make a difference… this is it.
It only takes a minute to start.
For the past four years, I've had the privilege of serving as a Camp Leader, specifically working with girls at Royal Family Kids Camp. This experience has reinforced my belief in the power of individual impact.
We provide a nurturing environment where our keiki can truly be themselves, unencumbered by the weight of their past experiences. They can revel in the simple joys of childhood, free from the burdens they never should have had to carry. I've watched shy, reserved children blossom into confident, outgoing individuals, buoyed by the assurance of God's love through our actions.
Laughter rings out, walls crumble, and hearts open when compassionate souls create a safe space for these vulnerable children. You too can be a part of this profound journey by supporting Royal Family Kids Camp—a beacon of hope and healing for foster keiki on Maui.
